Arsene Wenger after the game:
We reached the final and gave everything we had, but I cannot help feeling that the game was influenced by more than just the football. There were decisions that went against Arsenal at crucial moments, and from where I stand, two penalty incidents deserved much closer attention, especially the challenge on Saka in the second half.
I am proud of this team. They showed courage, quality, character and the fighting spirit that Arsenal supporters expect. When you lose a Champions League final, it is painful. When key moments leave you with questions, the disappointment is even greater.
Congratulations to PSG on winning the trophy. But I believe Arsenal deserved the opportunity to compete on equal terms until the very end.
To the players: keep your heads high. Great teams are built through moments like this. Use the pain, learn from it, and come back stronger.

I met a guy at a cyber café in 2019.
Every day, same routine:
He’d come in, pay for just 1 hour, and type as if his life depended on it.
One day I asked, “What are you always working on?”
He smiled and said, “I’m applying for jobs abroad. One must click.”
People laughed at him.
“Who do you know abroad?”
“You think it’s that easy?”
But he kept showing up.
Every. Single. Day.
Some days, he had money.
Some days, he didn’t—he’d just sit and watch others, learning.
Fast forward to 2022…
He stopped coming.
We thought he had given up.
Then one afternoon, someone walked into the café wearing a hoodie and carrying an iPhone.
It was him.
He got a job in Canada.
Not through connections.
Not through luck.
Just consistency.
Before he left, he said something I’ll never forget:
“Most people quit right before it works.”
It’s not always talent.
It’s how long you can keep going when nothing is working yet.
If you’ve been trying and it’s not clicking yet…
This is your sign not to stop.
Being a man isn’t always easy.
You plan the trip, fuel the car, make sure everyone’s comfortable… and somewhere along the way, the music goes quiet.
You check the mirror 🪞
All the babies? Fast asleep.
Even your babe? Gone 😄
And just like that, from “family man” to a chauffeur.
Deep down, you smile though you feel they should keep you company and help stay awake as well 😴.
But this is what love looks like;
Carrying everyone safely, even when they don’t see it in the moment.
Men… we keep driving ❤️
Unfortunately there will be no evidence that you really tried your best if you don't make it. The sleepless nights. The losses. The doubts. All will mean nothing if you don't win. That's why you have to make it.
I’m a landlord. It’s a tough business. I had a tenant, Mr. Alvarez. Never late on rent for 5 years. Then, the checks stopped. I went to his apartment. He didn’t open the door. I used my key. The apartment was empty. No furniture. Just a mattress on the floor and Mr. Alvarez sitting on it. “I’m sorry,” he said, looking down. “My wife got sick. The medication… I sold everything. I’ll leave today.” I looked at the empty room. I went to my truck. I grabbed my tools. “I’m not kicking you out,” I said. “But I am raising the rent.” He looked terrified. “I’m raising it to $0 for the next six months.” He started to cry. “And,” I added, “I’ve got an extra sofa in storage. And a table. Let’s get this place looking like a home again.” That was three years ago. His wife recovered. He’s back on his feet. He insists on paying me double rent now to "pay back the debt." I put the extra money into a fund for other tenants who struggle. A roof over someone’s head is a business. Keeping a roof over their head when they’re drowning? That’s a duty.
