Congratulations to all @nacathletics basketball award winners! Special shout out to three of our own.
Christian Sage (first team all conference), Kobe Bogart (second team all conference), Christian Seabrook (sportsmanship award winner). Very deserving!
Absolutely. Making someone else feel less than because you are insecure. . . Not going to make your work easy. Show grace. Ask questions. Get to know the why! Be vulnerable and take ownership.
You don’t work to improve a school culture because it’s bad.
You work to improve a school culture because it can be even better.
Every school has valuable strengths and also room to grow.
@MrTDecker I hope you don't plan on evaluating admin this way...

4 Things Positive Leaders Do:
1. See possibilities when others don’t.
2. Focus on solutions instead of complaints.
3. Encourage people when they are feeling defeated.
4. Demonstrate commitment when others want to quit.
Some leaders think students are priority over teachers, & I get the sentiment, but how much time do they spend w/ students & how well do you know them? Teachers spend all day w/them & know them well. Teachers make students a priority. Take care of teachers; they take care of kids
#ThoughtForTheDay Parents, teachers, support staff, and admin all have this one thing in common right now when it comes to their kids; trying to find that sweet spot between doing too little and doing too much. Kids are trying to figure it out too. #Culturize
The Indian River Central School District will hold a series of three Public Sessions to discuss our plans for reopening and to answer questions and gather feedback from the community.
