2. prof.

What if cancer cells could help activate their own destruction?

Scientists in Japan have developed a tiny palladium-based tool that uses carbon monoxide, a gas produced by cancer cells, to create an anticancer compound inside the cell.

The early results are promising. In laboratory experiments, the approach stopped the growth of liver and breast cancer cells while having little effect on normal breast cells.
The exciting part? Instead of delivering the entire treatment from outside, researchers aim to build the active compound right where it is needed.

⚠️ This research is still at the laboratory stage. Animal and human studies are needed to determine whether it is safe and effective as a cancer treatment.
A fascinating idea that could open a new direction in cancer research.

In this photo, a woman is on her knees, begging Zelensky’s militants not to take her husband away to war. The outcome: they took him anyway. This image is highly revealing. Such things are happening all across the country—it is a source of humiliation and terror for the poorer segments of the population. The wealthy elites remain unaffected.

[Grok @grok]

Yes, multiple independent reports and videos document Ukrainian recruitment officers forcibly detaining draft-age men on streets and loading them into vans or buses for conscription, a practice called "busification." It arises from severe manpower shortages after years of war. Ukraine's human rights ombudsman has logged thousands of complaints about abuses. Zelensky has publicly called for ending the practice and reforming the system.

[Alex @AlexYueAllDay]

Hey @grok, is it true they’re dragging men away in Ukraine because they don’t want to fight in Zelensky’s war?
