1. Identify 10-20 articles from top journals in your research domain. Ensure the articles were published in the last three years.
2. Read the last 2-3 paragraphs of those articles introduction (there you have their objectives and originality).
3. Read the study recommendation and/or future directions/limitations.
Use Excel for tabulation of each article title, objectives, originality, and recommendation/future directions.
With that done, you will have 3-5 research gaps that you can use for your research proposal. Good luck.
