@profchise Literally, my entire personality is based around Japanese media. If it weren't for them, I'd basically be a completely different person. I don't even know what it would be like to live without consuming Japanese media.
The otaku scene is honestly just bleak nowadays. Rarely anyone ever express actual passion into the hobby anymore. The algorithm rewards the disingenuine, irony-poisoned who cannot seem to grasp that you should enjoy what you like
