@DerekPederson3 No, it’s Hanas’s fault. It started the war, and could have ended it any time by surrendering. Hamas also consistently disclaimed responsibility for the well-being of its own citizens, claiming that they are the UN’s problem.
@ProfDBernstein I don't know of any Jewish person in politics, government, advocacy, or entertainment who has embraced, coddled, befriended, and protected people who wants to destroy American Jewish Institutions more than Bernie Sanders.
Bernie Sanders is why antisemitism is spreading on the DSA left. Especially because he is Jewish, this sort of conspiratorial nonsense--as if AIPAC tells Trump what to do--is like manna to antisemites.
AIPAC is now spending as much as $9 million against Abdul El-Sayed.
AIPAC is why we’re at war in Iran.
AIPAC is why the U.S. has supported genocide in Gaza.
We must say NO to AIPAC.
YES to electing Abdul as Michigan’s next U.S. Senator.
Bernie Sanders is why antisemitism is spreading on the DSA left. Especially because he is Jewish, this sort of conspiratorial nonsense--as if AIPAC tells Trump what to do--is like manna to antisemites.
I’ve been detained by the IDF, along with a group of rabbis & volunteers. We were simply harvesting olives in a grove near Nehalim in the West Bank.
The occupation is a crime under international law. Harvesting olives isn’t a crime under any law I know.
"Gosh, why are the mummy displays so dark and opaque? Must be the lights are broken. I should go tell them downstairs," I thought to myself while recently wandering around the Redpath Museum at McGill University.
Then I read the sign.

@KrimskyLeonid My understanding is also that the Soviets made no effort to die ethically war. The Jews about the fate that awaited them from the Nazi invasion.
UC Berkeley Law is under federal civil rights investigation related to these policies. Don't the law students know better than this? https://t.co/xDc5gd1zw3
BREAKING: The flagship law review at UC Berkeley is poised to delete all internal application records after we reported on the journal's use of personal statements to promote "diversity," sparking concerns that the journal is attempting to destroy evidence of unlawful discrimination.
The law review will vote tomorrow on a document retention policy that would require the journal to delete all "Write-On application materials following the conclusion of each year's Write-On process," as well as any materials related to the election of the journal's Holistic Review Committee. It would also bar the law review from retaining "any recordings of election forums."
As a reminder, law review editors have pledged in writing to "uplift Native voices," weigh "diverse life experience" against "technical editing abilities," and "integrate anti-racist sentiment" into the selection process.
@SteveKerins@KeithLevenberg I just think it's weird to complain about an Israeli PM worrying about Israel's interests, instead of about America's domestic policies, just like every other country's leader.
What does Israel do for us, I keep hearing people ask:
Without Israel, Lebanon falls to Hezbollah, Jordan falls to Islamists, the PA falls to Hamas, Hamas links up with the MB to threaten Egypt, Iran gears up to dominate Iraq, the Houthis take over Yemen and along with the new government in Jordan threaten Saudi Arabia, and so forth. 1/
@nj4rfk Gee, I wonder why there would be fewer checkpoints in areas under full Israeli control than in other parts of the West Bank? I thought the checkpoints were just to harass Palestinians for no reason.
"We did not pass any checkpoints."
Lander inadvertently reveals that contrary to the sort of propaganda he himself puts out, there aren't ubiquitous checkpoints in the West Bank.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry is lying.
No coordination was required, and we were never told that it was. We were not in a restricted security area. We did not pass any checkpoints.
Palestinian farmers do not — and should not — need permits to harvest their own olive fields. But they fear doing so, because the IDF doesn’t protect them from settler violence.
We’re trying to model solidarity & co-existence between Jews and Palestinians, and to call attention to the horrors of the occupation. The Israeli government is trying to foment violence between Jews and Palestinians, and to make it impossible for Palestinians to harvest their olive groves, drive on their roads, or live in their homes.
@daniela__127 He's blatantly lying about these particular olive farmers, who did not in fact have any issues with Israeli settlers blocking their harvest.
