- আয়না (ayna) — mirror (from Persian آینه āynah)
- কাগজ (kagôj) — paper (from Persian کاغذ kāghaz)
- দোকান (dokan) — shop/store (from Persian دکان dukān)
- বাগান (bagan) — garden (from Persian باغبان bāghbān / باغ bāgh)
- রাস্তা (rasta) — road/way (from Persian راستہ rāsta)
- পর্দা (pôrda) — curtain (from Persian پرده parda)
- জমিন / জমি (jomin / jomi) — land/ground (from Persian زمین zamin)
- কোমর (komor) — waist (from Persian کمر kamar)
- চালাক (chalak) — clever/smart (from Persian چالاک chālāk)
- আসমান (asmaan) — sky (from Persian آسمان āsmān) used mostly in Bangladesh
- দরজা (dorja) — door (from Persian در dar + diminutive)
- খোদা (khoda) — God (from Persian خدا khodā; used in expressions like খোদা হাফেজ — "Khoda Hafez" / goodbye)
- আইন (ain) — law (from Persian قانون qānūn via Arabic, but commonly via Persian usage)
- কলম (kolom) — pen (from Persian قلم qalam)
