Mat 7:7 - Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Mat 7:8 - For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
@AgainstAtheismX Where do you find a "triune God" in Scripture?
God is One. Jesus is God manifest in the flesh.
John 4:24 ESV — "God is spirit..."
1 Timothy 3:16 ESV — "...He was manifested in the flesh..."
John 14:9 ESV — "...Whoever has seen me has seen the Father..."
I'm a man who wants to know God, yet when I say I believe God is Spirit, and Jesus is His flesh, His form: I get called a heretic because I didn't say God is the Holy Trinity.
Is anyone willing to have a genuine conversation about this?
@profdunkledore Because you were once lost and are now found. You are seeking God in Spirit and Truth, rather than by the ways of men whose faith is in their words and their vain speech. God will refine you in His timing, not through endless tests and trials set by mens standards.
Psalm 106:43-44 ESV — Many times he delivered them,
but they were rebellious in their purposes
and were brought low through their iniquity. Nevertheless, he looked upon their distress,
when he heard their cry.
"I'm an ex christian converted to Islam"
No, you've never known Christ, therefore you were deceived. Nothing a muslim or an atheist says makes me question my faith in my God. Christ is king.
