I have a penis
I’ve had it for a while & even used it a few times
I’m also against unsolicited dick pics, rape & pedophilia. I’m not “anti-penis.” In fact, I’d bet MOST penis owners want laws to protect kids & prevent sexual assault
See how it works?
This tweet is about guns.
Can't get enough of this man! Reading excerpts from as brave as you, loved For Everyone & passed in along to my teenage son (he's in the middle of Stamped & just cracked Long Way Down), got that Miles Morales for my 9yo and all of us & their baby bro gonna Write, Right, Rite ♾🙏
@django_paris I was in a grad program that did something similar co-hearts instead of cohorts :) I believe you and some of the folks at that meeting might have already written about language being fluid ;)
@10tpdx This must be another EdTPA tweet...The turning point for me (besides being right up against a deadline) was thinking of it as another task amongst many as opposed to a humanely-crafted assessment that could possibly encompass everything we do in our classroom community.
This morning, a woman in my district who teaches at Oxford messaged me saying she and her colleagues who survived the shooting "need to do something more tangible than cry." Because if we continue to do nothing, this will keep happening, again and again and again and again.
@10tpdx Been there...I have an elementary, multiple-subjects one that I turned in and would be happy to send along if you think that would be helpful. You can do this! Just take it line-by-line in the rubric like a math problem (soul-crushing, but effective).
It's not "free healthcare" or "free childcare." We pay for these things with our taxes. It's just that we choose to prioritize these expenses over endless wars and fossil fuel industry subsidies.
Don't let them define the debate.
Been noticing how many edu-celebs are claiming the work of equity, culturally relevant teaching, and antiracism as their work. So important to question this. Please check for receipts. Please check for uninterrogated, deficit thinking and whitewashed interpretations. #NCTE21
We put together an Abolitionist Starter Kit: books by Angela Y. Davis, @prisonculture, @KeeangaYamahtta, @marclamonthill, and @HarshaWalia to help sharpen our analysis, ground our strategy, and deepen our commitment to collective liberation. https://t.co/RF2NAompZi
@SchoolBoardBloc@m3dusamp This is pre-pandemic and coincides with new MS-Kellogg. There have been various proposals, language about "including the community" w no real transparency or accountability. 1 school could be either Mandarin or Spanish immersion next year + MS Ss being moved. Decision in Feb.
The fight doesn’t end here because there is still everything to fight for. We are fighting for our lives and a safe future and we know we can win this together. We, the people with the open hearts, will make change happen.✊🏾 #COP26
@portable_chavez Sounds similar to what happened in Albany:https://t.co/13i9wOdadA
Also important to note the ridiculous behavior of adults attending the last PPS school board mtg: https://t.co/JJCdktUQm0
@nelsonlflores ¡Fuerza a la hora de escribir! Loved your work o CSP con @django_paris & community. Any lit recs p un maestro bilingüe de primaria that aligns? ReThinking (Watson), En Comunidad (España y Herrera), Translanguaging (García y Wei) and Hammond, Z's work have all helped so far.
