@L_D_Washington When I gave the annual English test to my EL students, I had parents, teachers, and students who had passed the test before write notes of encouragement for them. (I asked for these notes when communicating with families about testing coming up.)

@theDRAMAgoat1 More focus on universal design, including strategic collaboration between experts in IEPs & supporting EMLs increase integrated support that helps all students access, & more support staff for specific accomodations. Smaller class sizes & bigger prep periods to make this happen.
