Took some inspiration from @MartinaBex this weekend at #NYSAFLT2023 today- 8GR students hid the characters in La Casa and had to guess where their partner put them in Spanish 👻🎃🧙🏡 #teachmorespanish
So grateful to have had the opportunity to attend the #nysaflt2023 Annual Conference in Syracuse this weekend. I left with so many great ideas and I can’t wait to put them to work this week! 😊
I'm so excited to be part of & learn, connect + grow with other World Language educators at the @NYSAFLT Summer Institute 2023. I'm looking forward to sharing the session "Choosing Intentionally: #EdTech in The #EarlyLang Classroom" on Aug. 1st @ 1:00 pm. #NYSAFLTSI23#NYSAFLT ⛵️
So proud of my 4th Grade #FLES students as they interview their partners about their favorite pastimes, create presentations about their likes and dislikes and present them to the class! 🙌 🏈 ⚽️ 👩🍳
There is still time to register for our Spring General Membership Meeting at Noa Mar Markets! But hurry! Limited space is available. Don’t miss out on a great way to close out this school year! Visit our website to register now. We hope to see you there!
@ProfPariMHS It was a very close call but at least we are safe from budget cuts for at least another year! 😅 Unfortunately it is still seen as “enrichment” rather than a NY state requirement so it’s always one of the first things on the chopping block.
It was amazing getting to learn from so many educators at @edcampLIWL yesterday! 🤍Especially loved seeing representation from our small but mighty #earlylang FLES community! I would love the chance to chat with more local FLES people soon 💕
The first ever edcampLI WL for World Language, Dual Language, and ENL teachers is coming! CTLE hours will be available. Register today! @nysaflt@liltflteachers https://t.co/EOMDJAcTuB
