Can there be justice without punishment?

[ProfessorEdd @professor_edd]

@GeraldoRivera — GREAT job challenging @Gutfeldfox. It’s true that our communities have lots of work to do, but it doesn’t make it less true that White Supremacy is alive and dangerous!

[ProfessorEdd @professor_edd]

Watching @Gutfeldfox on @FoxNews — I guess it’s easier to crack jokes then it is to cover a racially charged mass shooting.

[ProfessorEdd @professor_edd]

“While far more people are being diverted from jail while awaiting trial, the percentage who get rearrested for new offenses remains virtually unchanged *after the reforms took effect*, according to the analysis by City Comptroller Brad Lander.”

I’m back!

[ProfessorEdd @professor_edd]

Eric Adams bout to have Rikers Island packed! Tell all y’all homies chill out.

[ProfessorEdd @professor_edd]

Drill music in the Bronx and in Brooklyn is no novelty folks. Let's quit pretending these 15-year-olds invented violence.

[ProfessorEdd @professor_edd]

The Bronx is in bad shape. We need strong and permanent mentorship programs.

[ProfessorEdd @professor_edd]

Merry Christmas to all of the incarcerated folks without their families today. God loves you too.

[ProfessorEdd @professor_edd]

Big shoutout to all of the gracious correction officers that helped me get to my classroom today. Y’all don’t know, but shit be a mission. They went out of their way cas some of their colleagues are 🤡’s. We had a terrific class!!! God is great & the fight continues.

[ProfessorEdd @professor_edd]

The spelling bee’s goin down tomorrow in class. #NerdGang 👨🏽‍🏫

#PrisonIsNotTheEndOfYourStory

[ProfessorEdd @professor_edd]

One of my students said that he might be better off on Rikers Island than back home in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Wasn’t sure how to respond to that one……🇺🇸

[ProfessorEdd @professor_edd]

One of my young scholars at the jail took his High school Equivalency exam today. His dream is to someday be a veterinarian. Prayers up! 🙏🏾🙏🏾

#PrisonAintTheEndOfYourStory

[ProfessorEdd @professor_edd]

We need the BEST educators & programmers in violent jails and prisons. Not just good teachers and programmers—the best that we have.

[ProfessorEdd @professor_edd]

Too many young folks in NYC’s juvenile detention system have had virtually ZERO education since the pandemic began. It is insane.

[ProfessorEdd @professor_edd]

@Wale Smartest thing you’ve ever said, and you say many smart things.

[ProfessorEdd @professor_edd]

Summer Walker’s pen go off. I’d love to chat with her about her writing process. #WritersLiveForever #NerdGang

[ProfessorEdd @professor_edd]

We just wanna live.
