You come to coorg to enjoy it's beauty and then destroy the same as u return. Such people shouldn't be allowed to leave their homes, they are a burden to society. @KodaguSp pls take action.
High BP & diabetes destroy kidneys. High insulin/ Type 2 diabetes is the single most cause for kidney failure.
To protect kidneys:
1. eliminate sugary drinks
2 Avoid white rice, white rice flour & maida products: bread, biscuits, cookies, porotta, icecream.
3. Take protein & fiber foods; eggs, legumes, nuts, seeds, chicken, fish, salmon & veggies.
4. The longer you go without eating the better for your kidney.
5. drink 2 to 2 ½ L of water each day.
6. Eat apples, blue berries, pomegranate, red grapes, pineapple, watermelon, pear
7. Take Low oxalate veg like cabbage & bell peppers & those high in magnesium like beets, pumpkin seeds, leafy greens.
Prefer foods low in potassium, nitrates and phosphorus.
8. Avoid: oranges. bananas, dried fruits like raisins, processed meat like bacon, hot dogs; canned foods, snacks like chips, crackers, fries, tomatoes, potatoes. See less

I wore a CGM for 2 week; it was eye-opening, even without diabetes.
Here’s what stood out:
(The same food can trigger very different glucose responses in different people)
• White rice spiked me way more than expected 🍚
• Indian sweets caused sharp spikes( during nagara panchami fest)
• Food order actually matters- protein first is better
Protein rich breakfast like only whey and fruits hardly causes sugar spikes
• A short walk after eating helped flatten the spike 🚶( post dinner walk specifically)
• Sleep, stress, ^ sugars and exercise smoothness my glucose patterns
• HbA1c shows the average while CGM shows the real-time story
biggest takeaway—> how my body uniquely responds to everyday choices.
Should be used more often in Indian ls even without diabetes
