Let me walk you through what happened one hour before Trump announced the five day moratorium on Iran strikes.
$1.5 billion in notional S&P E-mini futures contracts. Four to six times normal activity.
One hour before the announcement.
Simultaneously, $192 million in crude oil futures purchased at the same time.
They made between $300 and $400 million dollars off those trades.
Trump claimed he spoke to an Iranian official to negotiate the moratorium.
The Iranians said that person doesn't exist and the conversation never happened.
This is not the first time.
It has happened multiple times. He says something. The trade goes on. He says another thing. The market moves.
But whatever you call it — they are laughing at you and they are laughing at me while they do it.
Hunter Biden sold a painting and Washington lost its mind.
These people are making hundreds upon hundreds of millions of dollars trading on information that only exists inside the most powerful office in the world.
I think we are dramatically underreporting how much money is actually being made here.
This isn't politics anymore.
This is a financial operation running out of the White House.
Mass killing by Burmese military. 30 civilians including 14 children were killed by Burmese military attacks in Kler Lwee Htu, 7 March. 160 villagers have been detained, used as human shields. Urgent action is needed to cut sources of jet fuel and money reaching Burmese military.
Burmese military air attacks in Ma Mu village, killed a 4 year old boy and injured 12 villagers. All 12 houses in that small village were destroyed, 12 December 2025, Mutraw District, Kawthoolei. The Burmese military have been escalating airstrikes and military offensives across the country ahead of their sham elections.
The Burmese military could not survive without international support. That is why we ask governments around the world to cut that support. The UK, EU, USA, ASEAN and other governments must impose more targeted sanctions to limit the ability of the Burmese military to carry out these deadly airstrikes. Cut the supply of arms, revenue, equipment and aviation fuel.
Ahmed al Ahmed, a Muslim father of two, risked his life to disarm a murderer who was shooting down Jews celebrating Hanukkah in Sydney.
Religion must not divide our common humanity.
We must stand together and end antisemitism, Islamophobia and all hate — no exceptions.
@MLuxon41284@BenjscottScott@RupertLowe10 We had a team of carers to help us at home everyday with my father's end of life care. Four of which were nigerian, 2 were Caucasian girls. The "british" girls were off sick constantly. Whereas the other four went above and beyond. They even attended his funeral on their day off.
To whoever on this platform is listening in... please can I stop getting "far right" posts in my notifications. I don't know what algorithm you have suggests I am interested in these. I used to get actual news headline notifications while at work, not this constant drivel
As the Myanmar military junta attacks civilians with weapons of war, the US is lifting sanctions against those who are providing these weapons. This is unconscionable and a major step backward for efforts to save innocent lives. I strongly urge the US to change course.
I am outraged by credible reports that Rohingya refugees were cast off an Indian naval vessel into the Andaman Sea last week and have launched an inquiry into such unconscionable acts. I implore Indian authorities to refrain from life threatening treatment of Rohingya refugees.
The sun is out, I'm working at a clients and her lawnmower engine hum is in tune with the cranberries track I'm listening too. It's the little things sometimes that give you a good outlook for the rest of your day... or am I just weird?
Apocalyptic scenes from Mandalay, MM. Only seeing small snippets of what is happening, given minimal internet or electricity. Supplies of food and water running scarce. Lack of machinery or govt support to find people under buildings.
