@DylanByers This is such a betrayal of journalism as truth seeking and storytelling. CBS News was a pioneer who has now become the Onion version of its former self.
@Dr_Crypto28 @sirDukeDevin He speaks the truth. Think, then speak/post video. We must teach our whole history, including the ugly, racist attacks of the KKK on Black communities.
@Alicat5551@sirDukeDevin Yes, a heartbreaking reminder of the brutal cost of slavery. Slaves endured harsh treatment on the voyage across the ocean and many died.
If only the Atlantic Ocean could speak, it would remind us of the countless black African slaves who were tragically lost in its depths. The Grenada Underwater Sculpture Park offers a poignant tribute to this history. Located off Grenada's coast, the park features "Vicissitudes," a sculpture by Jason deCaires Taylor, depicting children holding hands in a circle. While the artist's stated intention was not explicitly to address slavery, the local community, whose ancestors endured its remnants, finds deep connections to the Middle Passage in this work. The linked hands and its placement near historical slave routes evoke a powerful tribute to those lost and unspoken memories in the Atlantic's depths. Yes, we should move on, we have moved on, but we will NEVER FORGET!
To avoid being characterized like your ancestors, I simply state, do not perpetuate their behavior, and we will all get along.
@sirDukeDevin I cringe every time he opens his mouth. It is either a lie, an exaggeration, an idiotic comment like this that is wrong on so many levels, a complaint about how badly he's treated, or bragging about ending six wars in six months.
BREAKING: Trump just posted on Truth Social complaining that "The Smithsonian is OUT OF CONTROL" by mentioning "how bad Slavery was."
Take a long hard look, Donald. Slavery was bad.
🚨NEW: Rep. Nicole Collier is suing over "illegal confinement" after Republicans locked her in the state Capitol for refusing police surveillance.
RETWEET to thank Rep. Nicole Collier for standing up to Texas Republicans.
President Trump can sign whatever executive order he wants to sign — but it won't change the Constitution.
And according to our Constitution, the authority to set our election rules belongs to the states.
We will protect mail in ballots in Pennsylvania.
@LePapillonBlu2 Yes, how do they reconcile this sad fact? He has faced zero consequences for his multiple offenses. God may forgive but one must ask for forgiveness & acknowledge sin.
@Matthewtravis08 Yes, and I don't care if he wears a suit, a military t-shirt or sweater. What counts is his HEART & SOUL are devoted to fighting for his country's freedom.
