@ClintFiore My favorite is all the โwe care about the environmentโ postersโฆ.yet you cannot refill a water bottle anywhere and have to pay โฌ4 for a plastic bottle every time youโre thirsty. ๐
@IvanTheK Not sure how common this is, but Iโve seen a number of situations where kids waited years for mom to die so they could sell wo cap gains tax. The house was either empty or a family friend was living in it for next to nothing. In nearly every case it was run down.
@vrexec Weโre in LA. I think LAUSD was designed for pre 80s single income households. 10min drop off window (7:50-8:00am) and pickup at 2:30 sharp. Early pickup 12:55 every Tuesday. Clearly not appropriate for todayโs family.
@allie__voss Theyโre too cowardly to opt out? We quit 10yo club soccer ($5-7k per year) and now do little league baseball ($400/year). Oh noโฆ..now maybe my son wonโt get a 25% scholarship to SW Louisiana Tech. ๐ญ
@temilia69 In SoCal you canโt do that. Those homes go to flippers, who pay cash, close in 14 days and do 5-15 deals/yr. Why would an agent want an end user to buy the home when a flipper will do tons of repeat biz? The end user pays 20-40% more for a home thatโs had 1-2mo of work.
@mountainwesttax I have 0 sympathy for the parents, as they continue to put up with it. I was the only parent who refused to join the 10yo club soccer team at the Vegas tournament (from LA). Our division 2 team hadnโt mastered any of the fundamentals. Why were we spending 3 nights in Vegas???
@jeremyct Get a recap of her earnings and see how much she paid in her whole life. I did that w my dad and it worked out to a little over 5% annualized return.
