Over 1,000 people in Nuuk, Greenland have shown interest in participating in the demonstration tomorrow, Saturday, 1pm local time, against President Trump.

In Sisimiut, North Greenland, the same demonstration is also being organized as in Nuuk.

Acting Head of the Government of Greenland, Múte Egede, will make a speech and the leader of the Democrats Jens Frederik Nielsen will also make a speech.

After the speech demonstrators will go to the US consulate with signs and with the Greenlandic flag.

Outside the US consulate, demonstrators will sing the Greenlandic anthem;

“Nunarput Utoqqarsuanngoravit”
-is a song about Greenland, our homeland. It describes the beauty and strength of our country and the deep connection we, as kalaallit (greenlanders), have to our land.
The song is about pride, identity, and respect for our traditions while looking towards the future with courage and unity.
