@ffrussi@KilpinChronicle As I have said, the players were the correct choice from a club perspective (most of them are younger than what Amorim desired). I believe Amorim didn't "adapt" because he did not expect the club to go over his decisions so hard. He wanted to be a manager, not a coach.
@ffrussi@KilpinChronicle I mean MU reached 3rd last season with a disastrous start (good stuff). Mbeumo, Cunha and Lammens were really good trades overall. The only issue was that Amorim was promised something and the club went above his decisions. MU really wanted Amorim to adapt to their OWN decisions
@ffrussi@KilpinChronicle He failed at MU because the club also had a different vision from him. All of the transfer made during his time were not what he desired, but on long term those were the better choices for the club. I feel like the fault was 50/50 at best.
@AngloVarangian Not just Germany. All of Western Europe refused for decades to recognize that Eastern Europe (with the exception of Greece) actually distinguishes between ethnicities. Yes, they are "citizens", but their cultural background differ wether we or they like it or not.
