I’ve been on this app since 2010, We use to open twitter like newspapers to read the latest breaking news.. it was rated on high standards and fun over all other social app.
Things got wrong since Elon Musk bought it and promised monetization. Instagram baddies and Facebook dummies trooped in, not for the love but to rage bait and share fake info’s for the money. y’all ruined it.
Y’all go back to your favorite apps and leave this space alone.
This is across all tech roles that require coding. I interviewed for a senior marketing analyst position and I had to sit an hr doing an AI live data analysis explaining my thought process and logic. Ideally, how do you interpret results, no one cares how you code your solution.
Interesting times we are in.
I am interviewing 3 people for software engineering role today.
No one writes code again, that’s AIs work.
We will be doing systems design, work culture and engineering practices interviews.
The founders who scale are the ones who know which numbers actually matter.
Join us this Thursday, 8PM (WAT) on Founders Corner as we chat with Olawale Babadina @profmowsix, Founder of Mowsix as we dive into how startups can make smarter decisions, find product-market fit faster, and drive sustainable growth by letting data—not guesswork—lead the way.
This is how we check World Cup fixtures when there was no access to internet, gone are those days at Ojota, like it’s was so interesting, they will sell to us then unfolded in other to make it easy to access, we will fold it and begin to write score after each match.
Childhood 🙌🏼
MIT ran a 4-month EEG study on 54 people using ChatGPT. The finding most people are skipping over: it's not AI use that causes cognitive atrophy. It's passive AI use (accepting answers without interrogating them).
People who used AI to avoid thinking showed measurably reduced frontal lobe activity over time; the ones who treated it as a sparring partner showed none of that decline — same tool, different posture, completely different outcome.
Here's the protocol the researchers used to measure active vs passive engagement, and what the active users were actually doing:
1. Draft first, then prompt. Write your own answer before asking AI. Even two sentences. It forces you to form an opinion instead of outsourcing the first-pass thinking.
2. Find the holes, not the content. Ask AI to identify what's missing or wrong in your draft, not to generate the content. Replace "write this for me" with "what's weak in this argument?"
3. Explain it back. After reading an AI response, close it and write what you understood in your own words. This is the retrieval step the passive users skipped.
4. Argue with one thing per session. Pick one claim in the AI's response and find a reason it's wrong or incomplete. One is enough, the act of searching for disagreement keeps your critical faculty online.
5. Label your uncertainty before prompting. Before asking the question, write one sentence: what specifically don't you know? It changes the prompt and it changes how you read the answer.
Cognitive debt is real and it compounds quietly. These five habits are what the high-retention group in the study were doing without being told to.
“Your EPL win is not all that because even Leicester has won it”
“It’s a PGMOL title”
But you were on the verge of sacrificing your family members so Arsenal don’t win it. 😂
You too your UCL is irrelevant because Nottingham Forest have won it. You must be very stupid. Dunces.
Man City won leagues and people shrugged. Arsenal win the league and rival fans turn into full-time analysts, historians and therapists overnight. 😂 Arsenal really slapped the entire football world awake.
A reminder for everyone who needs to hear it 🫶🏼
