I think that it is about student mental health - that has to be a key consideration and Universities need to understand that. Students need to be on campus with their peers not stuck in their rooms watching videos

There will be some excellent face-to-face seminars, small-group sessions etc often in a strong blended environment taking the best of digital too

Surely we have to value student mental health higher than teaching efficiency - depressed students don't study well. Research shows small amounts of online learning is effective but where is evidence that >70% online learning is effective for general UK student population ?
