Can you believe the Live a Live fan translation is 25 years old? It only released seven years after the original Japanese release.
It took *26* years to have an official release with the remake. Fantranslations are the backbone of this culture. We owe them everything
Yoshio Nishimura, from Vanillaware fame (Odin Sphere, Dragon's Crown, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim), spent six years in a remote Japanese mountain village crafting this game on his own.
Every single one of the 300+ illustrations was drawn by hand.

@lenhishiro Precisely that, they weren't given a lot of budget, especially with other big PS1 projects on the way. They had the option of cutting the story in half, with no promise they would ever get to continue it, or finish it in the only way they could.
You're playing the results. 😔
