@esidery I like Brown but that’s a lot of assets for Portland to give up for a straight up swap for Brown. Take Scoot off the trade and maybe throw in a late first rounder instead.
@EliseMic19598@JWeinbachNBA I'm not ready to give up on Scoot or Shaedon yet. But I do think Blazers need get one more All Star caliber player to be able to compete at the top of the West in Dame's window. I've seen his workouts and obviously the 3 pt contest and I feel like he's coming back strong.
@EliseMic19598@JWeinbachNBA Yeah I've never been a fan of Giannis on the Blazers trades. I like the role of facilitator more where we give back those picks to Bucks for players coming back from teams Giannis goes to. Like Brown, Kat, Bridges, Mitchell etc. Of course JG and possibly Jrue in the trade.
@EliseMic19598@JWeinbachNBA Ok, I get what you're saying. Yeah honestly I don't necessarily love a Giannis trade. Ball dominant driving big who can't shoot the outside shot consistently. Not to mention adding an oft injured older player with older players like Dame and Jrue. I'd rather have Brown TBH.
@EliseMic19598@JWeinbachNBA Maybe you should expound on your point then, cause I don't think it was very clear given your statement and the fact that the Blazers are on the rise and GS seems to be on the decline.
@JWeinbachNBA I like it except I would substitute Jrue for Scoot and offer one less pick from Portland, probably the 2027 Orlando pick. I predict Scoot will pop this year and be the PG of the future for the Blazers once Dame retires.
@trailblazers This is definitely a ceiling game for Scoot. If he can just get where he’s playing more games at his potential it will be great for Portland.
@ClutchPoints@Dame_Lillard Klay, Miller, Allen all shot vast majority of their shots as open catch and shoot. Dame doing it UNASSISTED off the dribble. Much harder shots to make but Dame makes it look easy. Most clutch long distance 3 point shooter not named Steph. Easily.
@shaesharpeshow Honestly at this point I would rather have Brown than Giannis. He fits better with the pieces that we have and provides outside shooting to put around Deni.
@blazers_palace Prime vs Prime, its’s not even a debate. Dame is top 10 in 50 point games all time (15), just behind Harden and tied with Steph. Brunson’s got 3. He’s good. But Dame is just better.
