Punch was trying to comfort himself before falling asleep. He kept moving around, looking for something to cuddle, and finally leaned against a rock as if it were his beloved plushie. 🦧❤️ He even rested his mouth on the rock, just like he used to do with his plushie before drifting off to sleep.
It's both heartwarming and heartbreaking because he's still just a baby. 🍼 He still wants something or someone to cuddle when he's tired and sleepy. 😴🥹
I really wish Punch could have his plushie back whenever he feels sleepy. ❤️

Punch is watching the water sprinklers with such curiosity, probably wondering where the water is coming from or insects might be there in the roof of the rock .🥹 His curious little face and innocent expression are so adorable. I also love how he makes himself small so he doesn't disturb the baby or its mom. He's becoming so mindful and mature for such a young monkey. 🥰
Meanwhile, the baby's mom looks a lot like Jumping Brother's mom. I heard she had a baby this year, and her eyes, facial features, and expressions look so similar. Maybe that's why she doesn't scold Punch he's her son's friend, so she might already know and trust him. 🤔🐵💕

The zoo updated that #Punch
has been fully accepted
by the troop members like family.
He is now treated the same
as the other monkeys in the troop.
He’s just living normally
and doing well.☽༓・*˚⁺‧͙🐒❤
He seems to have grown a bit taller,
and his fingers look longer too.
The zoo has not officially announced
the exact names of the tree branches
and leaves they give to Punch
and the other macaques.
In general, Japanese macaques in zoos
are often given safe browse such as:
Willow
Mulberry
Bamboo
Other approved local tree species
But for Ichikawa City Zoo specifically,
the exact tree names
are not publicly listed.
