"Transition is a holy and blessed experience that, for me, is never ending . . . With my ministry, I imagine I will move from space to space in much the same way: what is God’s message, and how can this community be the most comfortable place to hear that message?"
"Being visible in this way has brought me more joy than I can put into words. I feel closer to myself than I ever have in the past, and closer to God than before I began transitioning."

"The spiritual disconnection many feel today stems precisely from expecting (or being told to expect) the Bible to be holy, perfect, and clear, when in fact after reading it they find it to be morally suspect, out of touch, confusing, and just plain weird." - @peteenns
@theB4NP What about a flight attendant? Serving people and making them feel welcome. (And dealing with the Judas-es who take their shoes off or who recline their seat as far as it will go onto your lap.)
@caspertk I'm curious if we interpret this in the same way... To me it means that trying to rush through something / complete it quickly damages the ability to hold something close and cherish it so long as it's in our lives.
