I've authored seven publications on various pop culture subjects (television, film & music). All are available on Amazon in Print, Ebook and Kindle formats.
@ESPNFC I hadn’t realized Spain had played all 47 other teams in the tournament! 😉 (I think you left out “they played” or “they faced” from the graphic).
@thejacksvn He needs the re election votes from smaller nations who didn’t make the World Cup because the larger ones, especially UEFA, have lost faith in him even more after the Balogun red card debacle, that’s why he wants to “examine” this possibility
@stuholden The worst performance of any Concacaf team in the whole tourney was by the US in the game that mattered most. Even Curaçao losing 7-1 to Germany wasn’t as bad given the context. No way can they be ranked 2nd
@fiago7 Obviously Canada. Mexico and the US got to the same level they usually do, but this time with home advantage for all matches and adversity on their side. Canada got to an unprecedented level for them & bowed out at the same stage overcoming adversity to do. They will be happiest
@capnsnow@CBSSportsGolazo@ChrisWittyngham It’s so obvious that Marco hates Canada, he was predicting that Qatar was going to give them a hard time, now he is saying that everything worked out as he predicted.
@Mike_Leach1976 He could have mitigated the horrifically bad optics of cheering on our #1 sports and soccer rivals (a country he told Cdns to boycott) as they scored had he worn a Canada jersey, t-shirt or some kind of prominent Cdn symbol. Can he not afford a Canada shirt?
@CanadaSoccerEN@Berto_AJC It is throwing shade. This will just entrench any feelings already held. I have been regularly attending Canada matches since World Cup Qualifying for 1986 along with my Italian-Canadian family, we don’t need “reminding” via an insult. Do better next time.
