Disneyland Tightens Rules After Spike in Ride Disruptions

Disneyland Resort in Anaheim is introducing a stricter guest code of conduct aimed at reducing ride shutdowns caused by guest behavior. Park officials say disruptions linked to guest actions accounted for 13% of ride stoppages in fiscal year 2025, up from a historical average of 10%.

A new phone policy dubbed “Stow it, Don’t Show it” requires guests to fully secure phones before boarding certain high-motion attractions, with cast members checking compliance before dispatch. The rules also target loose items like large tumblers and backpacks, expand bans on selfie sticks and similar devices, and tighten enforcement at entry points as the park seeks to improve safety and ride reliability.

@Brewers I celebrate the Brewers not “Team Wisco.” It’s really hard watching a game with these jerseys. Saw them in person and never would consider buying this over a regular Brewers Jersey! Why do the Pirates get a kick ass jersey and we get this???

@MLB @Brewers Wisco is not a thing pertaining to the Brewers. It’s a city connect not a state connect. I didn’t like the first CC jersey but i really hate this. My team is the Brewers not the Wisco….. please do not let whoever approved this do another jersey ever again.

@WallStreetApes Don’t forget they added demand pricing on day passes which can boost costs higher. Also the multi pass & lightning lane is extortion which can cost $30 to $450 per person a day on top of ticket prices. Go at a time like right now & you won’t ride much without paying the extra!

American was going through his things and found an old Disney World vacation he made from 2010

For the 5 night vacation it was $1,918.24

So he decided to see what it would cost if he booked the exact same vacation today

He goes through the process, adds all the same things, the price has more than doubled and you get less perks

Watching him add these items is crazy, the prices are absolutely insane
