We’ve expressed concern about safety at #Napier for months. It’s distressing to hear that fire & safety reports were ignored by @ukhomeoffice and their contracted providers.

Napier Barracks in Kent has been used to house around 400 people seeking asylum.⁣

Not only are 22 people on suicide watch, but now over a quarter of the entire population of the facility has contracted COVID.

This is scandal, but not a surprise.
