Project Avenger is a collaborative effort to survey and investigate parts of the TBM-Avenger aircraft that crashed on Hong Kong Island during WWII in 1945.

e.g., using a grid system can cover a mountainside where foliage is dense, follow the direction of a river, and be used with metal detectors safely and as appropriate.

Craig Mitchell - 轟炸機殘骸發現者

Criag在香港出生和長大，對研究軍事歷史，尤其是香港保衛戰，充滿熱情。 經過數月的搜索，Craig於 2012 年 1 月發現了TBF復仇者式轟炸機遺址。 基於他對二戰歷史的興趣，他已經發現、探索和繪製了遍布香港山區的數十個日本戰時隧道系統。

Born and raised in #HongKong, Craig has had a lifetime passion for military history, in particular the Battle for Hong Kong. Craig discovered the wreck site in January 2012 after months of searching. 🏞
