Okay, I haven't been checking my second channel since I left it dormant a couple of months ago because of the mass influx of JRPGs. I didn't know that it has caught up to my "main" channel ever since. Maybe it's time for me to return? 🤔
Asmongold doesn't expect Ethan Klein to survive the cheating scandal
"Generational collapse..going to look very bad for him..I really don't know how if he'll be able to recover from this...your content was built around all of your friends and wife..it's just terrible..to Ethan's credit, we still don't really know his side, but this does look really bad when everybody immediately disowns the guy..sad to see"
"Really tragic..four or five people who's lives are ruined and Ethan ruined his own life..I feel bad that they're this stupid..but at the same time, you get what you deserve..I bet whenever he comes out and makes a statement..gonna say ya, I f'd up, it was really bad"
🚨 BREAKING - Smash JT EXCLUSIVE 🚨
My long time contact at Microsoft has just reached out and informed me of a few WILD things.
> Gears of War E-Day Marketing budget was $300,000,000+ on top of the alleged $500,000,000+ development cost.
That is a total of $800,000,000+ for the game entire launch.
> Asha is NOT happy, they stated that this situation is NOT on her, and she is working hard to make sure this kind of shit never happens under her watch.
> Layoffs are already happening right now. With MANY more to come. Future of The Coalition is currently up in the air.
Many other things of note that I will cover tonight but suffice it to say… things are changing massively over at Microsoft Xbox.
$500M before marketing is insane
Sidelining Marcus and Dom for a gay fat bitch who emasulates the legacy of Delta Squad is one of many things that made the story atrocious
The layoffs can't come fast enough
One chose to keep pushing the boundaries on what is possible in a role playing game. The other chose to chase short term trends and activism. You don't need a business PhD to figure out where both roads lead to.
This is not something I ever expected to see.
Larian and Bioware started their trajectories in the games industry at the same time and Bioware led the way in making RPGs big. It's almost unimaginable that we're now entering an era were the name Bioware won't show up anymore when discussing upcoming RPGs. What a loss for all of us.
Thank you for all the games. Thank you for the many hours of gameplay. Thank you for all the stories . You can be damned proud of what you achieved.
I hope you all land well.
Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Jade Empire. Many of their games shaped my childhood years and now they are but a distant memory. This is painful to me but also unsurprising given how activists have taken over their final project. Remember sticking it to chuds NEVER ends well. 😔
