Despite the negative news in the gaming industry lately, in contrast, Star Wars Galactic Racer was announced out of nowhere at The Game Awards in December 2025 and there's already a second trailer. The game looks incredible. AAA adventure racing storytelling. @LucasfilmGames

@ErikInCt_ @DetectiveSeeds All very possible. We're not yet (and perhaps never) will be privy to why. All I can do is look at the facts at hand and see that this is a tragic end to BluePoint - regardless of whether BluePoint was right or wrong, or SIE was right or wrong.

@Kencho02 @DetectiveSeeds SotC remake was a success, otherwise DS wouldn't have been greenlit afterwards. DS may be slightly profitable, but it is arguably the key PS5 launch title and is symbolically very important for the platform (and still the only true PS5 exclusive)- SIE bought BluePoint after.
