[Rebel's Guide to Project Management @rebelsguidetopm]

Percent complete is the classic way of recording how a project is going, but how useful is it really? And what should you do when everything seems stuck at 80%? Here are some tips on how to track percent complete 3 different ways. https://t.co/dVZer2bEAR

@girlsguidetopm You can download Planner for free and use it forever. just sign up here: https://t.co/2Ev30weEmd

[malcolm west @projectinabox]

@girlsguidetopm And for Ralf, if your tasks are resourced and you record actuals against them Budget, actual and progress costs are calculated to give you a feel for whether you are on track because you have over burned or not. (a simpler take on EVA)

[malcolm west @projectinabox]

@girlsguidetopm Elizabeth, We have always been unhappy with the simplicity of a project level % complete, it only ever paints half the story. So in our Planner tool we also calculate % progress to date. How much of the tasks due by now are complete.
