@TheStingisBack As am actor, I'd say Gran Torino and Unforgiven. As a director, I'll go for Letters From Iwo Jima. But then again, you could pick other film from hi filmography and I'd rarely disagree with you.
@TheStingisBack Michael Bay and Zack Snyder, two directors whose movies I find mid at best. Yet, somehow, they managed to make two of my favorite movies as well, The Rock and Dawn of the Dead. The Rock also introduced me to Hans Zimmer, and what an introduction that was.

@TheStingisBack I'm gonna name two, because I can do that.
Black Hawk Down and Stalingrad.
There are loads more. Some Honorable mentions besides the usual favorites like Saving Private Ryan, Das Boot, etc.:
Letters From Iwo Jima
The Covenant
Der Hauptmann
Warfare
Napola
Aimee & Jaguar
@TheStingisBack Yeah, somehow that one never bothered me. But that f-ing red Bull! It didn't only drive the unicorns into the sea, it scared my wits right out with them.
That time William Shatner was emotional explaining how it felt to take his first flight into outer space and Jeff Bezos cut him off to spray champagne. Like a scene straight out of The Office
@pureMetatron@DrDavidMiano Snowflake tears. I didn't know, Greeks were that fragile. Maybe it's just a you-thing. Or whatever gets that grifter money train going, right? 😉
@Finidaydo Es brauch mehr Information. Sind die Schauspieler bekannt? Ist es ein deutscher Film oder aus einem anderen Land? Sicher, dass es ein Film ist und keine Serie?
@DougAdamsMusic I will make the exact opposite prediction. His SW scores so far are quite enjoyable, but his big budget creations are not that easy on the ear. Personally, I didn't care for Oppenheimer(music or movie), f.e.
I would love to be wrong and enjoy both scores, though.
@TheStingisBack My favorite movie of all times. And my favorite soundtrack of all times. As you said, there is nothing like it. It's an epic, that I hope will endure and be spoken about for another 44 years or even for the next 440 years.
@TheFilmScorer Hey, as long as it's not like One Battle After Another, I will be listening to it. Though, it would be nice to hear some truly classical scores once in a while. While these creations often work for the movies, some of these experiments make for poor listening on their own.
@KimKatieUSA Trans people famously can't jump and run and hold or swing sticks. It is known.
He will do fine and people like you will be seething and crying. And that will be the end of it.
