Whether at home, at school, or in medical settings, young people do best when they are recognized and accepted for who they are. We stand with the 2SLGBTQ+ community today and every day.
@WolfsonLyn96803 Hi Lynn, I was at your talk at CIRTA and was very inspired. Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I manage several children with total colonic Hirschprung’s who are now post transplant. What a long way we have come! All the best with your future work!
An excellent review by #jamessquires on PALF, reminder that children are not small adults, and the determination of the etiology of PALF and prognosis continue to be areas of interest. #NASPGHAN22
Fantastic review on evaluation of the cholestatic infant by @saulkarpen and exciting work on early diagnosis of #biliaryatresia 🤩. Get that conjugated Bili early! #NASPGHAN22
@GermHunterMD @DukeAdultID@DukeU@UofA_ID@UAlberta_DoM Congrats Dr. Schwartz!!!! You’ll always be the preceptor who inspired me to get on Twitter 😊😊😊. Good luck with the move!
This piece was not easy to write. I wrote from a tender place, that has love, grief and strength all in the same spot. Sharing vulnerability, especially in the medical world, often feels like a huge risk. I’m so heartened by the responses I am receiving.

"For people living in poverty, it is one sick child, one illness, one house emergency or one lost job that can make the difference between being housed and unhoused.” #Opinion https://t.co/YUqFnxQGli
Yesterday was tough. I’m closing up my kidney practice for a while so that we can augment physician coverage in the ICU. Sandra gave me permission to share this, and a hug that I so desperately needed. I’ve been helping her stay healthy for years. I worry about her.
