They spent years screaming that Trump would drag America into another endless war in Iran.

“No more Iraqs,” they cried. “No more Afghanistan.” The second he actually avoided turning it into a decade-long quagmire and still managed to cripple their air force, navy, and air defenses while wrecking their nuclear ambitions, the same people suddenly decided the only acceptable outcome was full regime change and occupation.

That’s called moving the goalposts the moment Trump refused to hand them the disaster they predicted.

Now they’re furious he didn’t send Americans to die clearing cities and holding territory in a country four times the size of Iraq. They’re calling a limited operation that reopened the Strait of Hormuz and left Iran strategically gutted a “surrender” or a “defeat.” The same voices who warned for years that any deeper involvement would be catastrophic are now attacking him for not going deep enough.

It’s pathetic, and it’s obvious. They don’t actually care about endless wars or American lives. They care about having a reason to call Trump a failure no matter what he does.

If he had gone all-in on regime change, they would’ve screamed about body bags and quagmires until the polls turned. He didn’t, so now they’re rewriting the rules after the fact and pretending the finish line was always total transformation.

This was never about consistent principles. It was always about making sure Trump could never win in their eyes. The goalposts aren’t just moving ... they’re on wheels, and they only roll when he’s the one playing.

So Bongino did the one thing Tucker didn't plan for: he 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐢𝐫.

Nowhere in them does Bongino say Trump shut down the probe. He says the opposite — that Trump is a victim who was briefed and satisfied, and that the case stays open but inactive only because no new leads have panned out.

Then came the receipts. A November 21 Fox News report — published 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 Tucker claims the two even spoke — quotes the FBI calling the Crooks case “𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦,” not closed. Trump himself told the Daily Caller he is satisfied with the Butler findings.

One man brought screenshots and dates. The other brought a story.

Since I’m still trending, just wanted to take the opportunity to remind our Senate that part of the reason we have 53 Republican colleagues today & not 52 is because of Pennsylvania.

Senator Bob Casey Jr. was defeated by a mere 15,000 votes.

I would also like to remind our Senate that you would have an even greater majority today had you secured our elections years ago.

In 2024, we should have won AZ, MI, NV, & WI.

If you take into account the debacle of the 2020 election followed by Georgia Senate runoff elections, Republicans should have closer to 60 seats.

So, if you pass the SAVE America Act, you will be rewarded with votes & likely bigger majorities.

If you do not pass the SAVE America Act, then I can guarantee that Louisiana & Texas won’t be the last time that incumbent Senators were defeated
