It is sounding like John Morton is going to be the OC for the Lions. I don’t think many Lions fans understand how good he was with the passing game in Denver with a rookie QB and a pretty average WR group. Dan Campbell thinks of him very highly as well. I think he meshes well with Scottie Montgomery and Tanner Engstrand as well. Morton does have a propensity for throwing the ball deep. With a run first scheme and the ability to air it out, I think you can expect to see another level from Jared Goff. Dan Campbell will continue to put the pieces in place that lead to success for this team.
