10 years ago i quit the rat race corporate world, just to join another rat race - making money with trading to impress others.
Took me a while to escape that one, too. I hope you learn from my mistakes.

Unpopular opinion:
If you’ve jumped between 3+ systems and still can’t win, it’s not the strategy.
It’s you.
You are the common denominator. You are the weak link.
Technicals can only take you so far. The rest is on you… your decisions, your control, and your ability to execute under pressure.
Discipline, patience, and self-awareness is what actually matters most.
Most traders obsess over tweaking an indicator or discovering a new edge that will move the needle but all the best ‘edge’ in the world means nothing if you can’t stay out of your own way.
Until the trader improves, the trades won’t.
No setup can save you from hesitation & no strategy survives self-sabotage.
You don’t need a new edge. You need to be honest with yourself… and that’s the hard work.
January: My friend bought $TSLA at $430 with a planned stop at $400. (-7%)
He removes the stop.
February: $380: “I’m already down so much… might as well hold.” (-12%)
March: $222 (-48%)
Companies to not look for online-course-certificate collectors.
Companies look for problem solvers.
Find a problem you are interested in, build your own solution, put on Gihtub and explain what you solved, and how you solved it in the README file.
Wanna understand something complex?
Build it.
How?
Start from the level of abstraction you currently understand.
Build those components.
And start connecting them.
Learning is like solving puzzles.
Nobody will teach you.
You only learn by doing.
Personal takes on the current market.
The market has been bleeding since Trump seated on the office, it's been many weeks that we are experiencing PVP environment and some people getting liquidity sucked from sophisticated market participants.
A few weeks ago, we've been seeing some bullish news with almost no market reaction and poor market breadth conditions. It's pretty clear that participants especially the retails and normies that you've been waiting got sucked since the Trump trade. I'm not going to talk about other external factors driving the current market, especially in terms of macro and leave it to the experts. Going back to my thoughts, who else is going to buy? The participants who lost money need to go back to work to be able to gamble again, it's going to take some months.
We have seen market fragmentation, especially in liquidity after a back-to-back memecoin on-chain and cabals this cycle, I've seen a lot of people who had a wishful thinking that the alt season hasn't even started yet. If you think this way, good luck! Or else have an open mind about all the possibilities in the market
Theres few types of participants who get sucked from this mental models, the one who married their old bags from the previous cycle or old cycle tactics and heuristics ($ETH maxis, alt coin bag holders, mid-curvers etc), A person who missed the on-chain meme cycle and the people or the gamblers who lost money and wanted to make it back.
Meme was the easy money edge last cycle, shorting high FDV coins, airdrops and breaking news plays if you know how to trade. The old book altcoin cycle happened, but in a rapid fashion, which was caused by multiple bull catalysts and front-running by sophisticated players and seasoned traders
Although it's not impossible that we might have an altcoin cycle that everyone is expecting, but it needs time, and the way I see this is when some quality names like DeFi or things that really provide value might come back, but it will take time to digest since most people became bag holders.
The real ethos of the space, the main reason for its existence, and what crypto is all about will return soon. Stay open-minded, adapt, or die.
Anyway, just a typical weekend rambling. See you on the orderbooks, GLHF!

To get stronger, recover faster and have more energy when you finish training, consider doing more sets, lower reps and NOT training to failure (not forever; to failure training has its place too). Pavel Tsatsouline on the Huberman Lab podcast.

Seeing a lot of folks feeling disbelief on the $TRUMP run, I believe that these people are the ones who missed the pump so their solution is to short a strong ticker to relieve the pain of FOMO. I try to avoid shorting crowded names or else u r ready to get ur ass handed to u
Real trading is ultra messy.
It has absolutely nothing to do with perfection!
It's more like trying to assemble a plane while already in the air.
Took me a while to understand that as a natural born perfectionist.
Market in clear chop mode, nothing for me to do here. I also have a personal rule about pausing after multiple stop outs - whether for gains or losses. Keeps me even-keeled and short-circuits the urge to plow right back into new risk in a choppy environment. Feedback in your own account is always the best “indicator”.
Just imagine for a day that you do not know anything, that what you believe could be completely false.
Let go of your preconceptions and even your most cherished beliefs. Experiment.
Force yourself to hold the opposite opinion or see the world through your enemy’s eyes.
Listen to the people around you with more attentiveness.
See everything as a source for education—even the most banal encounters.
Imagine that the world is still full of mystery.
Grass ain’t greener on the other side. Printed green day today after pissing off pnl during the early session when I’m not meant to trade for today, especially when it’s weekend. Upon reflecting, this was caused by having a strong 2024 performance (overconfidence), boredom (since I’ve been less actively trading due to my focus on my swing positions a few months ago) and a holiday break. After a busy week, today is the day that I’ve had the luxury to relax but fuck it I love trading so here I am just pissed off my pnl and had to grind just to breakeven, traded mediocre setups early sessions and you can clearly see most of my volume occur during that time and less volume at the later session when most of my pnl was recovered trading decent plays.
Main takeaways here is just to FO when I’m not supposed to trade. It’s a good warm-up for me at the beginning of the year and be super aware of these kinds of blindspots in real-time.
