Around 26 weeks, you are right, they usually would prepare the cervix for hours or overnight, sometimes across a whole day. Then when the cervix is open enough, abortionists would suction out what they can and use forceps for the rest. Ripping the baby apart.

Another option depending on the size and age of the baby after viability would use medication to kill the child and then slow induce labor, delivering the child dead. This is basically the same process as induced labor of a live birth except they kill the child first.

Sometimes in either case, they give the child medication that gives them a heart attack to kill them before the process begins but whichever method, they kill the child while still in the womb, making it more dangerous for the mother than a live birth would be at that stage.

🚨 Life update! 🚨 Following a period of separation that we kept private, Paige and I have decided to move forward with ending our marriage.

I’m endlessly grateful to Paige for everything she’s done for me and our family. She put her own dreams on hold so I could chase mine, and she was always my biggest supporter. That foundation of respect and friendship isn’t going anywhere. We’re excited to keep building Muniz Racing together and to co-parent our boy with the same teamwork and love we’ve always had.

In abortion after viability, the baby still has to be delivered during an abortion. Abortion doesn’t avoid delivery at that stage. The only difference is the abortion kills the child in the womb (giving a higher risk of sepsis for the mom) and waits 2-3 days to deliver.

Delivering the baby alive is safer.

No one forced you to get pregnant and if they did, that’s already illegal - they should be put in the ground for it.

But once you’re pregnant, no one can force you to give birth - birth is happening all on its own. That baby has to come out at some point. We’re simply against you killing them before birthing them.
