@portraitinflesh Yeah, it’s been the worst. No energy to do anything except listlessly wait for it to go, and I do have at least a portable air con so I can keep one room to about 24 degrees. I long for proper air con, is it really so much worse than heating the home in winter?

@portraitinflesh I think some of his other works also have more sense of an underlying shared humanity along with their flaws. AP just seems to be saying ‘haha, get a load of her, she thinks she’s really it but she’s too vulgar and common and too stupid to realise it.’ Or that’s how I recall it

@JulianDutton1 This is amazing way of looking at him, very insightful. I think of him as the perfected version of Noel Coward’s Mr Bridger from The Italian Job. Crazy how few episodes he is actually in, his impact on the show is enormous.
