@andygarber1 them. It’s at those moments our kids learn from us but we learn so much from them. A hug can release so much weight. I promise you those moments are moments our kids remember. Thank you for being honest. Teaching is not just what we say but what we do.
@andygarber1 Andy I don’t know you but I feel you. I am youth pastor and I can honestly say that at times I wish I could have gone back in time. Those moments have been the best opportunities to teach my kids, from my mistakes. To apologize and take responsibility for my actions. And love
We have an opportunity to teach our kids how to respond to our accomplishments and successes. More importantly we can show them how to respond to obstacles, pain, and failure. Even if that means we need to apologize. Challenge yourself daily to aim for being a Great Dad.
Isn’t it interesting how we put so much effort into convincing people that we are not broken? I wonder what would change if we just admitted our brokenness and allowed God to mend us. Are we hindering what God is trying to do in our life to impress those around us?
