@Hashbergers@0xAvast if all of these capabilities you say are true, then it means they could've done all this with all those resources and talent they have for the last year. yet only deciding to innovate or give back one threatened by other apps/chains.
@dogoshii is anyone surprised? the platform known for extracting, who's business model is more profitable on low caps isn't the one behind the new runners? crazy.
@0xjaqs rh's run started because it was a breath of fresh air, new tech, something to keep the trenches amused. but money's chain agnostic now. it flows wherever projects are good and people stay happy. and sol kills rh on fees and speed. so sol szn coming back is just a matter of time.
@0x7ama aside from a few minor things, sol itself was never the issue. the chain is mostly fine.
it's the monopoly sitting on top of it, pump; gatekeeping launches, extracting from every trade, choking out anything community-driven.
good to see lot's of people waking up.
aside from flexing and showing off pnls, fomo is very good for showing mental strength with how long people can hold their positions.
this is very good for the space, it encourages not selling off for a 20% gain, and actually holding for large pnls; which is what everyone has been asking for.
@AbsorbA11 i don't think we need pump to save sol. arguably they are the source of a lot of frustration that trenchers are having right now. promoting the rotation meta, delaying their airdrop, paying that money to kols. what sol actually needs is a breath of fresh air with some new tech.
@AbsorbA11 but does anyone actually want a reality where pump innovated and took over the launchpad space on rh? i think everyone is appreciating the diversity and innovation that comes with rh. we don't need a cross chain monopoly.
people don't understand that pump paying kol's gives them potential control over the tokens these kol's shill. there's an incentive for them to be calling pumpswap tokens.
and the most frustrating thing for the trenches is a company with so much marketshare and money innovating not because they want to, but because there's competition.
what also matters is the structure these coins are launched on. a lot of the 50 000 random shitcoins launching everyday are the mass extraction rotation coins no one likes.
but if the coins are launched with fee structures designed to make runners profitable to platform and trader, then sol szn will definitely come back.
i think right now, this is literally nuclear bomb vs coughing baby. rh chain has the backing of financial institutions and all of the innovation they could want.
solana basically only has pumpfun, which the traders are already disliking and the same rotating memecoins launched on said platofrm.
but it's not over for solana, i think with the right tech and change, sol szn will come.
@0xnobi one of the best things to come out of the app wars is the chain agnosticism. anyone can now just trade cross chain without even knowing what bridging is lol.
@enjoy0r the reason you can't find a long term angle isn't solana, it's that almost nothing launched on pump is built to last.
the coins are designed to be flipped because their fee structure makes low caps more profitable. quite unfortunate for the ecosystem.
@CasterNL your callouts can be great and deserving of creator payouts. but if the coins you're calling out which are launched on pump can't last more than 1 minute, whos there to buy based on your call and give you rewards?
@Reese_xyz paying kols to call coins doesn't create value or innovate at all, it just routes the followers into a position the caller is already in. the followers become an exit for the caller, and a fee rake for the platform.
@Reese_xyz hey but at least the coins these KOL's are calling are some rippers... right?
they pay these KOL's because that means they can control which coins they call, and which coins do they want people trading? their own. aiming people at their extraction tunnel.
@AbsorbA11 pump's got the biggest warchest in the space and they're renting attention with it, rather than innovating and giving back.
people are already frustrated with sol, and this further explains the move to rh people are making.
@notthreadguy i mean we have app wars, chain wars, meme stock pairings and trump shilling crypto. the stars are aligning right now, just need btc to fix up.
@QuintenFrancois i think everyone wants this, but rh is a financially regulated institution so rh as a team can't really get away with a launch. at least for the near future.
@seyong i think some people just forget that fomo serves as a discovery and accessibility layer, and at the end of the day don't have control if the tokens move up, down or sideways.
people also seem to be taking the cross chain trading for granted.
