With modern mobile devices, anyone will soon be able to tap a physical product/item and instantly read a public, permanent item record — no proprietary scanners, no closed systems.

That’s the foundation of #ProofTap.

ProofTap is an open, non-custodial mobile infrastructure that lets creators (from hobbyists to enterprises) write item-level records to the #Cardano blockchain using accessible NFC tags. Anyone can read those records for free.

But the real leap comes from how Cardano’s eUTXO model can be used alongside those records.

Using eUTXO, ProofTap can optionally bond NFTs or native crypto / stablecoins to a specific, irreversible lifecycle transition — for example, when an item moves from New → Used — with those NFTs and funds easily redeemable by the customer/user.

That’s powerful because it creates a real economic incentive for lifecycle truth.

Instead of relying on trust, warranties, or centralized databases, ProofTap uses:
•permanent public records
•wallet-controlled actions
•optional economic bonding tied to a one-time irreversible state change (redeemed by the customer/user)

The result is strong economic counterfeit resistance — especially in resale markets.

A patent has been filed for the full model.

And this isn’t theoretical.

Disher Music Gear will be using ProofTap at launch, putting real products and real customers on-chain from day one.
