This lawmaker is part of the problem. You can call for mercenaries without comparing them to the armed forces. First, the mercenaries achieved much because of their collaboration with the Nigerian AFSF. Second, no Nigerian unit till today has ever received the amount of available resources the mercenaries got. Imagine, one group having 11 choppers to themselves. We are not yet at this level. Third, no Nigerian General has ever received the kind of pay each mercenary received, till today. Can you pay a private 2000 dollars a month?

At the end of the day, it’s all about available resources and this lawmaker knows it but playing to the gallery. This is not flippant. This is stupid.
