Living in Turkey. Mum (85) had 2 Sinovac + 2 Pfizer vacinnes. Me I have had 2 Pfizer. So why won't the UK recognise this? What are they insinuating? We didnt get real Pfizer? Turkish healthcare system didn't know how to deliver it? Our certificates are fake?

@suecoo66 @PPaulCharles @ThePCAgency Yes I know. Some tourist areas depend heavily on UK visitors both holiday makers and home owners. For these 2021 has been way worse than 2020. So unfair when we see the UK has high covid levels itself and Turkey has done so well to get 65% of population double vacinnated.

@PPaulCharles @BBCBreakfast @ThePCAgency Nothing wrong in taking pcr tests to prevent infection to others just reduce the test cost. If we can get a test done in Turkey for the equivalent of £15 why is the UK over charging for testing?

@grantshapps What an injustice to put India on the Amber list and leave Turkey on the red. This can only be political and as always the ordinary people suffer from the lack of British visitors. Germany, the USA, France, Holland etc all allow their citizens to visit Turkey so why not Britain?
