God created us with free will because love can't be forced. Real freedom meant humanity could choose to reject Him, and we did. Jesus wasn't God fixing a mistake. He was God providing a way back without taking away the very freedom that makes love and faith real.

Jesus was the solution. God knew humanity couldn't save itself from sin, so He entered history in Christ, lived the sinless life we couldn't, and willingly took our place.
