Then “they do no work.”
Then the music video director became the problem.

We are not even talking about hair, makeup or styling anymore. Now it is the voice recorder?
What is next?

By that logic, I guess artists charging money for concerts is something to criticize now too. Should she only perform charity shows to satisfy you?

Do you have any idea how many people and how much planning go into every single event? Venues have to be booked months in advance. Schedules have to be locked. The music itself often needs to be finished before any of that can even be planned properly.

And while doing all of that, she is shooting ads, dramas and films, working on singles whenever she has time, releasing a mini album, doing a 10 city fan meeting tour, then immediately going into BLACKPINK’s Deadline world tour.

In between, more drama filming, global events, the Met Gala, Dior shows, preparing a full album, and now taking the first steps toward that album with a new single.

And somehow she is still attending events, posting on TikTok, communicating through her app, listening to what fans want, interacting with fans, and filming variety shows.

When I look at that schedule, my only thought is, she works insanely hard.

So what exactly do you want her to do more of? How much more is enough?

Does she need to work herself into the ground like Yutaka Ozaki before people finally decide she has done enough?

At some point this stops being criticism and just becomes finding a new reason to complain no matter what she does.

So if I summarize the logic behind all these endless complaints, Jisoo apparently has no passion or interest in music, her company does absolutely nothing to promote her, nobody cares about making money, and yet she is somehow spending millions of dollars on a single music video and squeezing recording and filming into an already insane schedule while traveling all over the world, purely as some kind of charity project for a handful of fans.

So basically, Jisoo works herself to exhaustion making money through ads, dramas, and events, then pours that money straight back into music that supposedly makes her nothing.

And why does she do all of this?

Because some fans support her and want music from her. Because she wants songs she can perform when she meets fans, holds fan meetings, and goes on stage.

Is that really the argument?

Wow. What an incredibly beautiful woman, sacrificing her time, energy, and money purely out of love for her fans.

And somehow, even after running around the world doing all of this, people still find reasons to attack her. At this point it almost feels like some of them just want her completely exhausted so they can eventually tell her to retire.

The more I read these complaints, the more I genuinely wonder what exactly people expect her to do.

Also, knowing her personality, she tends to really listen to what fans want and take that into account. So this time I’m expecting something different from the "Your Love" direction, maybe a harder beat, dance track, or even something with a rock edge. Of course, I could be completely wrong.

What has been officially confirmed is that singles will be dropped before the full album. The music is already finished, and it looks like several music videos were filmed months ago, including work done in the US. Based on that, I strongly expect each release to be spaced roughly two months apart.

Jisoo prepared AMORTAGE and went on a fan meeting tour across 10 cities around the world, including places she normally rarely gets the chance to visit, regardless of how commercially successful it would be.

Is that not music promotion?

And this time, we are literally just at the starting point of a full album rollout. I genuinely do not understand why people keep screaming “promo promo promo” every five minutes.

If another single comes, then another single, and eventually the full album, she will have more than 20 songs of her own. At that point, she could probably start doing smaller solo concerts as well. Personally, that is exactly the direction I think she is building toward.

So why is everyone constantly rushing her?

It is pretty obvious that BLISSOO and its staff are probably working day and night behind the scenes. What exactly do people want them to do? At this point, it is starting to feel less like criticism and more like people desperately searching for a new angle to hate her from.

She is Korean, grew up in Korea, and has reached a level where she can go almost anywhere in the world, speak Korean, and people will still listen to her. Yet somehow we are now seriously discussing her English pronunciation and accent as if that is a character flaw.

Go to literally one concert by another girl group and you might finally get some perspective on Jisoo’s dancing. But no, apparently we must attack first and think later.

They cannot seriously call her ugly, so now it is “she only has her face.”

She does not show much skin, so she is “boring.”

Then when Lisa shows more skin, people slut shame her for that instead.

So what exactly is the correct answer here?

At this point, some of these people just look like internet trolls who need to type something hateful every day to remind themselves that they exist.

The more fan complaints I read, the less I see actual support, constructive criticism, or even criticism I can understand.

Mostly I just see people posting garbage for the sake of posting garbage.

And I keep coming back to the same question.

I’m genuinely curious what people mean when they say “promo.”

There are OOH ads going up around the world right now, and this is literally just the beginning of the first single. So what exactly do they think is missing?

Do they mean promo that helps increase views and streams? Do they mean online promo just to let people know the song is out? If so, what exactly counts as “online promo”?

In Korea, the media is already flooded with articles about Jisoo, while Lisa reportedly had basically zero Korean articles. Jisoo already filmed Hot Ones in advance, did prerecordings, prepared a photobook even though yes, it’s something you have to buy, and we still haven’t even seen what other promo is coming next.

So what are people comparing this to?

Lisa having all of Thailand stream and watch her videos? Music show promotions? Filming tons of Shorts and TikToks?

I’m not trying to start a fight. I genuinely want to know what people think is lacking.

Because when you actually look at it, isn’t it pretty similar for Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo? They drop the song, do some scheduled promo, and then there’s usually a gap. It’s not like Jennie or Lisa were doing nonstop promo every single day either.

I’m seriously asking. What exactly is the promo people think is missing?

Do they seriously think she can just go single promo, single promo, single promo, then full album promo like that?

Be serious. Whether AI is used for background visuals, CGI is used to create a monster, or AI is used to create that same monster, how many of the people criticizing it actually understand the technical differences in any real depth?

I still have concerns about using AI to create people, but do you honestly think industry professionals just type, “Make me a background for the music video,” and call it a day?

How is any of this something JISOO should be attacked for? Now even production technology itself has become material for hate comments. Ridiculous.

Use your head for a second. The logic is incredibly simple.

To exaggerate the math a little: Thailand has around 70 million people. If they each streamed something just 10 times, that’s already 700 million views.

Lisa is basically a national hero in Thailand. So if Thai fans are liking, streaming, and supporting her at several times the normal rate, just imagine the multiplier. don’t need bots to explain those numbers.

Her Thai fandom is organized before the release even happens. They set up multiple accounts in advance and stream repeatedly. Understand the structure before making claims about bots.

And that is precisely Lisa’s strength.

Jisoo absolutely dominated physical sales. She simply doesn’t have the same kind of country scale support base that Lisa has in Thailand. Different members have different strengths. It’s really not that complicated.
