@HenryDa06899869 Their jobs as writers is to appease the masses...Your philosophical tone is appreciated, however there should be more diversity in the writers our students read. How are they supposed to gather "perspectives of life" if they read from the same old authors?

@HenryDa06899869 Books are a necessity. How do you expect our species to thrive and evolve? Books add substance to the world that we live in. The problem is that our children are reading watered down pieces of literature.
