This weekend, we recorded our highest total usage over a three day span on the site since launching, with some metrics trending up 80-90%. A quick breakdown:
- 448 incoming unique visitors, with 29% staying to start a case
- 201 cases started with 920 total turns completed
- 25 unique subject domain/difficulty level combinations across all attempted cases
- Over 20 users who stayed to complete at least 20+ individual case turns, with many returning throughout the weekend to come back for more
Overall a very informative and exciting weekend getting to watch so many users try Prosivo out, and even return for more. We hope you’ll continue the momentum as we continue to hear about your feedback and experiences along the way.
Never stop learning.
Correction (since today was technically official match day): HAPPY MATCH DAY to all MS4s out there! The future starts now.
We’ll blame that on our social media intern @samalsabtiDO
Playing around with @prosivo, brushing up on some heme-onc knowledge for fun. Didn’t know that alcohol induced lymphadenopathy is so specific for Hodgkin lymphoma.
So cool. Still can’t believe I built this 😎
We’re working hard on ways to expand access to the suite of cases in our free tier at Prosivo, so more of you can experience that “aha” moment. Stay tuned!

No better feeling than finally shipping, opening up telemetry and seeing “registration completed” with multiple concurrent users practicing cases!
Keep signing up and using @prosivo, and feel free to drop a comment or message with anything cool you’ve learned 🤓
Announcing our biggest content expansion yet. Prosivo now comes preloaded with 117 clinical cases across 12 subjects sourced from multiple licensing board content outlines.
What's new:
- 7 new specialties: Infectious Disease, Psychiatry, Endocrinology, Hematology/Oncology, MSK/Rheumatology, Dermatology, and OB/GYN join our original Cardiology, GI, Neurology, Pulmonology, and Nephrology libraries.
- 177 total cases (up from 75): each with 12 Socratic checkpoints, custom wrong-answer explanations, and tiered clinical learning pearls.
- Multi-exam targeting: every case is now mapped to the exams that test it (USMLE Steps 1-3, COMLEX Levels 1-3, NCLEX-RN, ABIM Internal Medicine, and PANCE).
- COMLEX/OMT integration: osteopathic learners get relevant OMT techniques, indications, and contraindications woven into applicable cases.
- Adaptive difficulty at every level: Step 1 cases test pathophysiology and mechanisms. Step 2 cases test clinical reasoning and next-best-step. Resident+ cases test complex management, dosing, and synthesis.
- All 177 cases maintain the same Socratic checkpoint format our users love: 4 answer choices per checkpoint, specific explanations for every wrong answer, and clinical insights for each correct answer.
This is medical education that adapts to where you are and where you're going.

Updates on my clinical reasoning education tool I’m building!
- Upgraded UI with a cleaner, more minimal look (don’t worry, we’ll have a later option to bring back those cool gradients too).
- Also added better Home Screen orientation and onboarding to help make kickstarting cases even easier.
