@LarryBuhay@PerceptionMoney@georgikantchev@evangershkovich Imprecise tools, yes. But sanctions (esp tech) can seriously degrade economies and thereby impact countries' military-industrial capacity. N Korea sacrificed nearly entire economy for its nuclear program. And Russian ongoing shortage of cruise missiles has defn helped Ukraine.
@winincentive @All4thePopcorn @Tatarigami_UA Institute for the Study of War has offered excellent analysis throughout this conflict. Worth a look, based entirely on OSINT.
@Luxaer@rasmus_wiman@IAPonomarenko@Tatarigami_UA Except that Russia doesn't hew to conventional wisdom. I've seen 1:1 ratio for RU suggested repeatedly, which aligns with credible reports of overflowing hospitals, minimal/absent evacuations, executions for retreating, medical staff shortages, etc etc etc. RU doesn't value life.
🇺🇦I want to express my sincere gratitude to the global OSINT community for their invaluable assistance in helping to save countless Ukrainian soldiers' lives by locating and preventing further harm from occupiers. Despite being dismissed by some as 'keyboard warriors,' these individuals selflessly give their time and even money to help Ukraine.
It's worth noting that even though russians accuse the entire Western intelligence of working against them, they may be surprised to learn that some of their most expensive equipment has been lost due to the efforts of some random teenage student who paid attention to details.
@ErikPer83205694 @ChrisO_wiki@criticalthreats "People have suffered real trauma and real injury, and it has dramatically hurt our morale, our readiness, our ability to recruit new members in the foreign service” says head of American Foreign Service Association (AFSA).

⚡Ukraine military spokesman denies troops withdrawal from Bakhmut.
Serhiy Cherevatyi, a spokesman for the eastern grouping of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, told CNN that fighting is ongoing on the outskirts of the beleaguered Ukrainian city. https://t.co/uQzo3jMdjh
@dan_carmell@PhillipsPOBrien I assume it's the Fox talking point of the day. Whether Russian trolls are leading or following the pile-on, would love to know.
@andygarrett1985@pinstripedline It's fascinating to watch Britain's withdrawal from the world stage into it's own self-made problems. And really, what possible impact could political events in N. Africa or Eurasia have on the UK?
@MaxBrane@joshtpm Indicates an approximation or example of a thing. Leaving off the grammatically correct commas is quite common in modern english outside of, like, NYT.
