In Colorado, a person making $50k pays the same tax rate as a millionaire. Initiative 195 fixes that. 97% of us get a tax cut.

Wealthy special interests are spending millions to stop income tax fairness. Chip in $10 >>

Thank you, @MelatKirosCO

"Amendment 87 gives 97 percent of us a tax cut and asks the people at the very top to pay what they owe, and that is a change Denver families need."

Thank you, Rep. Pettersen! @RepPettersen

"I'm voting YES on Amendment 87 because it is absolutely imperative that we mitigate the cuts from Donald Trump and Republicans to our healthcare system and our schools."

Attn CO businesses: some powerful voices in CO are misrepresenting 87. They’re hoping you don’t ask how big a biz has to be before it pays a penny more. Most small biz owners pay their biz taxes through personal returns. They are among the 97% getting a tax cut. #YesOn87 #NoOn136

Amendment 87 Fact Check:

Which businesses pay? Over $9 of every $10 in new corporate tax revenue from 87 comes from shareholders of multinational corps around the country & world. That’s not you or your small or even mid-sized CO business. That’s national companies.

Whether you’re living paycheck to paycheck or an actual billionaire… if you’re in CO, we’re all paying the same tax rate. The system is broken in favor of high income earners & keeping the cost of living high for everyone. Let’s give 97% a break. Vote #YesOn87 & #NoOn136

Thousands of Colorado voters received false text messages warning that Amendment 87 would “hike taxes” on seniors and veterans.

This is “not supported by the text of the measure.”

Amendment 87 would tax Coloradans making $500k+ a year. Opponents including Gov Jared Polis (D) are misleadingly claiming it will raise taxes on low-income seniors and vets.

Former Rep. Fagan was one of many who voted in favor of the “Tax Equity Act of 1987” that created a single individual income tax rate.

Now, he's an advocate for 87.

Let's fix this broken system!
