Welcome to The Marching Project. The goal is to raise awareness of the importance of music programs by documenting a student's journey through one.

I wish the best to my pit kids next year. I love them and know that they will be amazing! #pitpercussion #marchingband

So much has happened these last few weeks and I'm sad to say my time in high school marching band is over. #marchingband

Although this season's end is in sight and it has been a rough road, I wouldn't have done it any other way. I love my pit family! ❤️

[Marching Project @protectthemarch]

Me: "There's no pits in college marching bands."

Mom: "What about that DCI thing? You could do that."

Me: (falls over laughing)

Being a senior in marching band is both the best and most terrifying thing I've done.
